Frisby Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built in 1810. By 1860 the original building and subsequent extensions and alterations had cost £200. In 1851 it provided 103 free and 37 other sittings, 140 in all. By 1873 the figure had dropped to 90 and it remained at that level. This chapel probably closed when the new chapel (qv) opened in 1886.
