Wymondham Wesleyan Methodist: the 1891 chapel

Wymondham Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built of brick in 1891. Until 1931 it provided 120 sittings. In 1940 the chapel which measured 22 ½ feet by 24¾ feet provided seating for 100 persons in pews. There was one schoolroom (23 feet by 13¾ feet) but no other rooms.

  • I have added two photographs of the building, which is currently for sale. The sale is, apparently, of a whole block including the Independent Chapel. Plans have been drawn up to convert both chapels and build a terrace of four new houses.
