Melton Mowbray, Sage Cross Street Wesleyan Methodist Chapel (i), Leicestershire

Sage Cross Street chapel was built in1808 at a cost of £1500. It was enlarged in 1827 application having been made to the Chapel Committee for permission to carry out works costing £500 in 1825. The cumulative cost of the buildings to 1860 was £2558. In 1851 it provided 150 free and 364 other sittings, 514 in all. It was probably demolished to make way for the new chapel in 1871
