Packington Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was probably built between 1851 and 1873. From then until 1931 it provided seating for 90 persons. In 1940 the accommodation consisted of a chapel, 36 feet by 24 feet and seating 100 in pews, a schoolroom, 30 feet by 24 feet one vestry/classroom.
