Sapcote, Leicester Road Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Leicestershire (i)

Sapcote, Leicester Road, Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built of stone in 1805. In 1851 it had 60 free and 200 other sittings and continued to report similar total in later years. It probably closed when the new chapel opened in 1896.

Comments about this page

  • The 1805 chapel continued in use as a hall until its demolition in 1957. A new church hall now stands on its sight, linked to the later chapel of 1896 by a modern entrance way.
