Hesket Newmarket Chapel (i) was built in 1839 at a cost of £134.In 1851 it provided 40 free and 70 other sittings. There were 120 sittings in 1873. It was closed in 1903 and the new chapel was built on the site

Hesket Newmarket Chapel (ii) was built of brick and stone 0n the site of the old chapel in 1903.It measured 40 feet by 22 feet. It had 92 sittings in pews in 1911 and 1940. There were 85 in 1980 and 1991. It was subsequently sold and is now used by the Hesket Newmarket Free Church
