The chapel was built of stone in 1858 at a cost of 226.10.2½ plus £30 for the land and conveyancing. Wall ties by TR were added in 1869. The chapel measured 44 feet by 26 feet and there were no other rooms. The building was “beautified in 1902”. Proposals to alter the chapel at a cost of £50 were approved in 1926-7. It had 140 sittings in 1873, reduced to 132 in pews in 1911 and to 100 by 1980. Wall ties by TR were added in 1869. In 1948 heatinf was installed in the schoolroom (£25). It remains in use as a place of worship.
