Garrigill North (Village/Town Foot) Wesleyan Methodist Chapel (i) was built in 1814/15. It was probably the same building as that was said to date from before 1800 in 1851. This was reported to have 180 free seats, 120 other seats and standing room for 120. It was replaced by a new chapel in 1859
