A Wesleyan Methodist Chapel is noted at NGR SD 23270 83450 from the Genuki web Pages which is marked Methodist Chapel on the early OS Maps. It states it was built in 1870 at a cost of about £400.00 to seat about 250 persons. It is noted there is no attached graveyard and unclear if the site still remains a place of worship.
