The current (2023) City Life International Church at South Parade, adjacent to Kelham Island, Sheffield S3 8SS is the former Ebenezer Wesleyan Methodist chapel.
The building, with the same footprint for the chapel, appears on the 1851 Town Plan in the middle of what was then Ebenezer Square, with the entrance facing the end of Ebenezer Street. The plan tells us that the chapel accommodated 1400 people of which 600 seats were free. By the 1889 Ordnance Survey map, a large Sunday school had been added at the rear of the building which still exists.
