The first Wesleyan Methodist Church in Burnley, Lancashire, was founded in 1788 at Keighley Green. This closed in 1840 when they moved to Hargreaves St. The old church was used as a court and Police station until 1888 then as Burnley Labour club, it was demolished in 1976.
