Lytchett Matravers Wesleyan Methodist chapel in time became Lytchett Matravers Methodist Church and is still active in 2022. It is located on Wareham Road (BH16 6EA).
Mark Churchill who took the photograph commented that the wording on the plaque in the gable was so feint it’s illegible.

Looking on-line at the Dorset History Centre catalogue, there are papers at reference NM-3/S/9 These include possibly two histories of the church. The earliest date shown is 1903. This appears to have been known as Higher Lytchett Chapel to distinguish it from Lytchett Minster which was known as Lower Lytchett.
