Tolpuddle Wesleyan Methodist chapel

Tolpuddle  Methodist Heritage site has a remarkable story. The Martyrs chapel, built in 1818, has been on the Historic England At Risk register for some time but is to be finally restored after a six-year campaign raising more than £650,000. The building is a rare survival of a 19th century vernacular non-conformist chapel.
