The building still stands and is located here: 43VM+7X Stoke Bruerne, Towcester
The building was still in use in the early 1970s, for a time it became a museum but is now a commercial property.

  • I’ve added pictures of Stoke Bruerne Wesleyan Methodist chapel, taken during a family visit to the nearby Canal and River Trust Museum. Now called “The Old Chapel it carries the date 1879 carved in stone, although the other words which would probably have been around it had been obscured. It also carries a sign offering Boutique Bed and Breakfast.

    The 1884 Ordnance Survey map shows the chapel and a Sunday school a little to the east, by what is now the entrance to the Canal Museum car park.
