Bethesda Welsh Wesleyan Methodist chapel in Penylan Lane, Oswestry
SY11 2AJ opened in 1856 and only served until a larger replacement – called Horeb – was built in Victoria Road.
Street View in October 2021 shows it in use as Penylan Laundry.
You can read more of the story on Shropshire’s Non-Conformist Chapels website. Oswestry also had Wesleyan Methodist chapels for English speakers; see here.
