Eastwood Wesleyan Chapel was built in 1835. In 1851 it reported 130 free and 100 other sittings which closely matches the total of 244 reported in 1873. It was probably closed as a Methodist place of worship between that date and 1878 when the much larger Victoria Street chapel was in being. It is not known where the 1835 chapel was situated.
