Ridgeway Wesleyan Methodist chapel

The apex of the main front of Ridgeway Wesleyan Methodist chapel carries an inscribed plaque which reads ‘WESLEYAN 1806’. The chapel was later remodelled and gained extensions in 1901.

The building is grade 2 listed.

Full planning permission was granted on 13th August 2019 for the “Conversion of Church to a single storey, three bedroom dwelling with rear extension, addition of two parking spaces, black steel railings and formation of access” Ref. 19/00306/FL and the building was auctioned in January 2020; you could have bought it for £140,000

A long time ago, I played the organ here for my sister-in -law’s wedding.
