Searching for John Richardson

I am researching JOHN RICHARDSON who was a Grocer, Town Alderman and Wesley Local Preacher in Dover in the 1860s onwards.
My own great-grandfather John Richardson, who was a carpenter and also a LP in Dover in the 1870s and early 1880s is not to be confused with the JOHN I am seeking.
John Richardson’s daughter Elizabeth married the Revd NATHAN RAW.
Does anyone have any knowledge or information about this family?
