Nuneaton, Abbey Street Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Warwickshire

Nuneaton, Abbey Street Wesleyan Methodist Chapel stood at the junction of Abbey Street and Stratford Street. From 1891 to 1940 the building seated around 700. Before then the Wesleyan Chapel seated 415. This was probably a different building as the increased capacity seems large for an extension or gallery insertion. In 1940 there was also a school hall and three other rooms. The chapel was probably demolished around the time when the new Methodist Church, qv, was built on another site in Abbey Street
