The Wesleyan Methodist chapel at Ascott near Whichwood dates from at least as early as 1816, it was registered as a meeting place for religious worship in 1884 and is shown on the 1886 Ordnance Survey map.
The chapel was sold in 1954. It has since been converted to a house and still exists.
