Mrs Broadbelt the Superintendent’s wife with a poster behind advertising the DAFFODIL DAY and procession of 500 women. The Central Hall Westminster still holds an annual Daffodil Rally. Mrs Broadbent gave Daffodil bulbs to the women of the Bright Hour to grow at home and then decorate the Hall.
The other also has Mrs Broadbelt on along with the Bristol Mission leaders.
As Rev John Broadbelt was Superintendent of the mission from 1922 – 1929 that is the era of these photos.
