For convenience the main list has been divided into three parts, with a separate section for ministers in Ireland. All these list the appointments to date. To cross-reference with the 1851 census remember that on Census day the ministers were still in their 1850 stations.

The final section is a simple list (Name and year of death only) of all the ministers who had died before 1st September 1853.
