Shown here at a Garden Party whilst minister in the Preston (Trinity) Circuit 1957 – 1962. Whilst Chairman of the Bolton and Rochdale Circuit he became ill and had to become a Supernumerary minister and died later. A dear man he addressed the Methodist Conference 1992 with morning devotions in a wheelchair- he was stunning
