My great aunt, visiting London from Australia in 1926, heard him preach at the Wesleyan Methodist Central. She says in her letter home: ‘He is a fine old chap, one of the real old school Methodists. The hall is huge and he had quite a good congregation. Lots of old men were there, who kept on saying in loud voices ‘Amen! Lord be praised! & ‘Glory’, This was rather upsetting at times especially the one who absolutely shouted ‘Glory, glory’ I thought he was saying Lord! Lord! in rather annoyed tones.

I am pleased to find this information and photographs as the Rev. Dinsdale T. Young was my great grandfather’s cousin. His mother, Matilda Walton, was my great great grandfather’s sister.
