Herne Hill, Half Moon Lane, Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built between 1895 and 1914. In 1940 the chapel seated 682 people. It had a school hall and three other rooms. Subsequently the chapel, which stood on the land which is now the car park, was demolished and the present building erected on an adjacent site (not necessarily in that order). It continues to be used as a Methodist place of worship under the title of Herne Hill Methodist Church Hall.
