Scalloway Methodist Chapel was built in 1861. It had 126 sittings in 1873. These had been reduced to 149 by 1940 when there was one other room. It continues to be used as a Methodist place of worship

Was interested to see the picture of Scalloway Methodist Church. I was the probationary minister there 1960-63. It brought back some good memories.
