Margate, Buckingham Road Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built in 1906 although there was already a chapel seating 150 by 1901. The new chapel seated 250 in 1911. This had fallen to 200 by 1931 when all seats were free. In 1940 the chapel estate consisted of the chapel itself which seated 130 on chairs and a school hall.
