( a catchy title ! ) Arthur Adams 1981 :- " I worked on the chapel when all the face was took off. The lamp on the front, I helped to cut that down. There was a pulpit in the middle of the Wesleyan chapel with a window at each side. They was all bricked in. The bloke who did it was Arthur White, lodged at Grandmother's, come from Brill. Arthur White and his son. Then a big window was put up at the back. Well, Jack Ellis took the stones out when that was done. I helped him do that."
