Minutes of the Wesleyan Methodist Conference

1744-1900

As well as telling us what was discussed at the annual conference, the minutes list all the ministers for that year and where they are to be stationed, and which ministers have stopped being ministers. They also list the ministers who died in the previous year, with a short obituary.

We have a full set of minutes at Methodist Church House, as do the Methodist Archives and Research Centre in Manchester, but we are delighted to be able to tell you that many of the earlier years have been digitised, and made freely available on the internet.

If you want to know about an ancestor who was a Wesleyan Methodist minister who died between 1744 and 1860 or in a number of years between 1870 and 1900 follow these links.
